Renaissance Care expands portfolio with Ayrshire acquisition
Renaissance Care has expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of Berelands House, a care home located in the coastal town of Prestwick, Ayrshire. The acquisition brings the total number of homes operated by the group to 19 across Scotland.

Berelands House offers 63 bedrooms and provides residential and nursing care for older adults, including those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. In April, the home received “very good” ratings across two quality indicators following an unannounced inspection by the Care Inspectorate.

The acquisition further strengthens Renaissance Care’s presence across Glasgow and Ayrshire and will support greater collaboration and shared expertise across the region.
