COWDRAY CLUB CARE HOME, ABERDEEN
The Cowdray Club is located in a beautifully appointed nineteenth century building in the exclusive Fonthill area of Aberdeen. The home is close to the town centre and just 10 minutes’ walk from Duthie Park. We offer care and nursing packages to both privately funded and local authority funded residents, some of whom may have dementia or be physically disabled.
There is a large and attractive garden to the rear of the property with access to a sun terrace.
The home has 30 single occupancy and 5 companion rooms. All rooms are tastefully decorated, many with en-suite facilities. All rooms are fully furnished – however, we encourage residents to bring in some of their own furniture in order to make their room feel ‘more like home’.
Nursing & Medical Care
Our team of qualified nursing staff and trained carers provide 24 hour nursing and general care. The local GP visits the home once a week allowing access to other healthcare professionals such as dieticians, physiotherapists, district nurses and community psychiatric services.
Catering & Services
There is a varied menu on offer and we can cater to all dietary needs. The menu is regularly rotated and refreshed. Residents have a say in the choice of food on the menu. There are also snacks and drinks available throughout the day.
Activities and entertainments add to the friendly feel of the home, with local schoolchildren often visiting. We have a full time activities co-ordinator who runs a varied program to suit all and organises regular outings in the mini-bus.
Various other extra services are available as required such as hairdressing, podiatry and newspapers.
