Our outstanding team provide care and support to residents with a variety of needs, ranging from personal care to specialised support for residents living with dementia, stroke and Parkinsons.
Meadowlark is a charming, ground-level property that offers spacious, accessible living and attractive, en-suite bedrooms. Each room differs in size and style with many enjoying direct access to the private gardens surrounding the home. We love to see residents personalise their space with their own treasured possessions, so they feel relaxed and comfortable in their surroundings.
Our home boasts multiple shared spaces for people to mix and mingle, as well as quiet spots where residents can relax quietly or enjoy a good book. Our dining areas are similarly flexible, offering a sociable supper or quiet dinner, depending on mood.
Nursing & Medical Care
Meadowlark’s talented team provide extraordinary care to our residents. Our staff are all committed to supporting personal wellbeing with kindness – that includes our registered nurses, professional carers, activities coordinators, catering staff, ancillary team, domestic personnel and management team. Regular training ensures all staff have the knowledge and skill to provide high quality care in a respectful and personal way. We schedule regular GP visits as well as many other support therapies, as needed.
Residents are in control of the care they receive and this person-centred approach supports individual’s physical and emotional wellbeing – while always respecting their choices.
Catering and Activities
Life at Meadowlark can be as sociable and active as each resident desires. We prioritise physical and emotional wellbeing, ensuring there is always something fun, active or creative to do or look forward to. Our in-house activities coordinator works closely with residents to develop a calendar of optional activities and events for residents and their families to enjoy, if inclined. We also offer many quieter, relaxing experiences if something more leisurely is preferred – including our quiet rooms, libraries and holistic therapies.
Our chefs enjoy creating delicious, nutritious meals and consult our residents regularly to ensure all tastes are catered for – whether hearty Scottish food or more adventurous cuisine is desired. We also ensure all dietary, allergen and nutritional needs are met.
