Welcome to Riverside Care Home, Aberdeen
Riverside Care Home is located on the banks of the beautiful River Dee in Aberdeen. Arranged across three spacious, accessible floors, our warm and welcoming property hosts 42 ensuite bedrooms (toilet and basin), purpose-built for the residential and nursing care needs of our residents.

Accommodation
Riverside Care Home offers a selection of bright bedrooms, some with access onto our charming orchard garden. We have lift access to all floors and specialist lift-aids for bathing, accessible showers and hydrotherapy facilities, if required.
Residents can choose to spend time in one of the many light-filled, sociable lounges and dining rooms. Every floor of our home boasts an all-day servery with drinks and snacks to enjoy with a chat, or while you relax with the newspaper.
Our home is located near the scenic Duthie Park – the perfect place for relaxing walks to the bandstand or strolling through the Winter Garden.
Person-centred care
Riverside’s professional and trained staff deliver person-centred care to every resident. We provide qualified nursing and general care around-the clock, so you and your loved ones enjoy complete peace of mind. The dedicated team are trained to offer bespoke care to every resident and their family, with a focus on both clinical care and personal wellbeing.
This holistic approach creates a very collaborative and nurturing environment and supports residents to achieve their own individual lifestyle ambitions.
Amenities and activities
Riverside’s talented chefs create fresh, seasonal and wholesome meals that appeal to a variety of tastes and dietary needs. Meals can be enjoyed in convivial dining rooms or privately in a room-service style, with snacks and drinks available whenever needed.
Residents are encouraged to follow their hobbies and interests and there are always events and activities to enjoy, providing the tools you need to maintain a positive outlook on life. Riverside has strong links to the surrounding area, and we make use of community spaces where we can, with church coffee mornings and ongoing dementia café participation. We enjoy regular visits from a hairdresser and a chiropodist, so everyone is welcome to enjoy a little self-care.
